Hey! I'm So Glad You're Here.

2 Corinthians 4:16"Therefore we do not lose heart, but even if our outward man is perishing, the inward man is being renewed day by day."

Welcome to Renewed—a space devoted to exploring and reflecting on Scripture, where believers can engage with important biblical themes.

The purpose of each post is to inform, encourage, and edify the body of Messiah, helping us grow in our understanding of יהוה’s Word and in applying it to our lives today.

I do not claim to have all the answers, nor am I a finished work. Like every believer, I am on a journey of learning, renewal, and growth in faith. My desire is to study the Word in depth, recognising both the Old and New Testaments as a unified whole, while knowing that the Word of יהוה is living, rich, and continually unfolding deeper truths. Above all, my hope is that each post directs us back to the Scriptures themselves.

At times I approach Scripture from a perspective distinct from both mainstream Christianity and Judaism. Because of this, the insights shared here may sometimes challenge familiar or established views. I invite you to read with openness, discernment, and a prayerful heart—testing everything I say against the Scriptures, just as the Bereans did, who “examined the Scriptures daily to see if what Sha’ul (Paul) said was true” (Acts 17:11).

Should you find anything that you believe I have shared to be in error, I kindly invite you to bring it to my attention, that together we may pursue the truth of יהוה’s Word more faithfully.

May we come humbly to the Word, anchoring our lives in truth, and ever seeking to honour and glorify יהוה in all things.

A Small Disclaimer

I understand that many Christians use the terms “LORD,” “God,” or “Jesus” to refer to the Creator and to the Messiah. However, I personally choose to use their Hebrew Names, believing Hebrew to be the “pure lip” that is to be restored, as spoken of by the prophet Zephaniah (Zephaniah 3:9). It is also the language in which the Messiah spoke to Sha’ul (Paul) on the road to Damascus (Acts 26:14).

Therefore, on this blog I refer to the Creator as יהוה, the Biblical Hebrew Tetragrammaton—the sacred four-letter Name of God—which appears nearly 7,000 times in the Masoretic Text and is transliterated into English as YHWH. I recognise that many people use varying pronunciations of the Name, such as Yahweh, Jehovah, or Yehovah. However, I personally believe that YaHuWaH best reflects its original pronunciation.

In the same way, I refer to the Messiah as יהושוע. If you look up Strong’s G2424 (the Greek reference for “Jesus”), you’ll see it is rooted in the Hebrew name Strong’s H3091—commonly rendered as Yehoshua or Joshua in English. I pronounce this as YaHuW’ShuWA, though I understand that many prefer the contracted form Yeshua, a common and widely accepted alternative.

I also use the Hebrew term Aluhym in place of “God.” This is a variant form of the Masoretic Elohim, and I find it more aligned with my linguistic and Scriptural convictions. At times, I also use Ruach ha’Qodesh instead of “Holy Spirit.”

I share this not to be divisive, but to explain why you will hear me using these Names throughout my content. In the future, I hope to post articles that explore these topics in greater detail. Thank you for your understanding and for engaging with this material with an open heart.
